I recently borrowed this ring from my cousin and I like how unique and interesting it is! the stones are diamonds, however they are uncut and unpolished. At the same time I can’t help but feel like perfectly good diamonds and their sparkle are being wasted. Like I said its not my ring anyways, but I’m curious what you all think of it? (Just for a fun ring discussion 🙂 )

It’s very unique and organic looking, I do like it but it’s not my style. Actually, i bet these most likely were not good quality diamonds which is why they are not cut and polished.

Those diamonds are never going to be perfect sparklers, I love them in their organic rustic glory anyway!
Having said that, I would never have chosen a rough diamond for an engagement ring.

I like it and think the rough diamonds go perfect with the vibe of the ring.

I really like it as a cocktail ring and how the band is thick to thin. A lady I know has a wide gold band and a wide white gold band which sit together as her rings, with no gems or anything. I’ve always liked that simple look.
