I wanted to get Fiance an dinosaur bone and meteorite ring made. But there pretty high maintance for male jewelry. Plus he wanted something simple and cheap.

We did Tungsten, and are really happy with them. Here is the best pic I could find:

We got matching ones, mine is smaller in size and width. We love them!

I used to have a hematite band but it broke when dropped on the bathroom tile. I assume jade, Quartz, and other stone rings would be similar

ive seen wood (one guy online makes rings from old whiskey barrels. That excited my hubby!). The same guy makes antler rings (for hunters). A lot of people choose titanium (although it scares me because I believe it’s the one paramedics can’t cut off in an emergency – or is that Tungsten?). There’s also a silicone one that’s really cheap and good if you lose rings a lot or you’re in to sports, and of course there are always cheaper metals like stainless steel, silver, etc… if you’re prone to losing rings or just looking for a cheap alternative.

mishybear :  Tungsten. The paramedics & hospitals actually have to get their own specific saw for those rings. It’s an expensive tool.

nykkee :  be careful with your ring. I used to have a jade bangle bracelet and it cracked right into two pieces!

One of my classmates and her Husband have blue silicone rings. Very unusual but perfect for them!
