I’m going to wear a plain, chapel length veil for the ceremony and a pretty flower (from etsy) for the reception!

I have a cathedral veil and am taking it off after we are done with pictures at our ceremony site. We plan to go out between the end of the wedding/picture time and the reception with our wedding party so I will definitely have to ditch the long veil. I would like to wear a flower in my hair from twigs & honey in addition to the veil so I still have something in my hair after the veil comes off but that may be too much accessory.

I am doing the "unveiling". A lot about my destination wedding is not traditional but there is something about that part of the wedding ceremony that is so moving and beautiful, there was never a question for me.

I am wearing the blusher veil and a cathedral veil.

I would agree that trying to keep a veil of any length on for the reception would be uncomfortable.
