@SuspiciousCoconut:  yay another dark green ring! The trick to get the green to show up in a picture is to either use natural light on a cloudy day, or one of those blue tinted LED lights. My picture with the pendant was taken with an LED light and the hand shot was on a cloudy winter day. I’d love to see a picture that really shows the green of your ring.

@longtimemrs:  Girrrl… you’re right, it’s not a traditional looking ring, but WOW I would love to see how that thing is going to sparkle IRL… the sparkles are going to be blinding on that one!

Congratulations on your upgrade and congrats on making it to the “old married lady” stage!

@hismrstobee:  Hi! Thanks so much! I was nervous about posting a pic of it because it’s not all that traditional. And I tend to be a little shy. Now that I’ve gotten braver, though, I ended up posting it in a few places on the board. (Yikes! Tongue Out)

It is quite a sparkler. I’ve had it for about a week today, and most of that time has been overcast, gray, and cold. (Winter in Northern Virgina — LOL) Yesterday and today, though, the sun has been out, and I’ve really noticed the sparkle when driving. When the sun hits it just right, it throws iittle rainbows, which I love.

(‘Cuz we all know what lives at the end of a rainbow … that’s right. A unicorn! What girl doesn’t want a pet unicorn. Ha, ha — sorry … Bad joke.)

It was a long haul getting to “old married lady” status. My husband and I were together for 8 years before finally getting married, so I feel blessed. And I totally relish the “old married lady” title. Smile

@Eckle:  OOOH, thanks!  I have a side view where it’s being held up to some lights, but I hadn’t thought of using a blue LED (don’t think I own one) or natural light on a cloudy day (lol, I’m basically a hermit).
