I have always planned on having half up half down. Something similar to this
But lately I’ve been wondering how an updo would look. Although with a halfy I could hide the tattoo on my back, with my hair up everything would be exposed. Gahh I don’t know haha. Here is my dress. What do you think? What are you guys planning?

I haven’t completely decided yet but I’m leaning more to the half up half down look. I know for sure that I’m not doing an updo. A complete updo just isn’t me and I’d like to recognize myself in my wedding pics HAHA

All up!! It looks more glam with my dress!!

I plan on all up. My wedding is in August, it is going to be HOT and I don’t want to have to worry about that on my big day. I do love the look of half up/half down though, I would consider it if my wedding was in the winter.

First, your dress is stunning! My jaw dropped when I scrolled down.
I’m wearing a princess kind of dress myself and I’m doing half up/half down, I think you’d look good doing the same. It would definitely go with the look of your dress.

I’m going with all up. My hair is naturally curly and in August it will frizz like none other. So up it is, then I don’t have to worry about it.

@Alip22: For you, I vote half up and half down! I think it would look good for your dress!
I will also be wearing it half up and half down : )

Have to do updo with my dress though I always envisioned a down or half up/half down do. My dress is a spaghetti strap ballgown with a deep V-neck and Im wearing a nice blingy choker and a tiara and cathedral veil in my hair so the updo looks best.

I love my hair and would want to do it all down but I know it would get in my face and bother me a little, so I’m doing half up. 🙂

I did both. All down for the ceremony then up for the reception.

half up half down. I never wear my hair completely up.

I would suggest half up/half down for you, with the side-swept bangs. It would look so romantic with your ballgown.
I’m getting married in late August too, but my hair is too thick/heavy to wear all up for 8+ hours. I would have the headache from hell. Also, every time I try the half-up/half-down option, I look like I’m 12 years old. So I’m going to wear my hair down (deep side part and a flower pin) and pray for mild temperatures and a light breeze.

The half-up is what I would do if I could. Something about half-up’s just makes me happy, its so romantic and pretty! (and hiding the tattoo would be a plus, although you can do that with make-up too).
I can’t wear my hair half-up because it doesn’t hold curl, its too thick heavy and hot for an August wedding, and I want to show off the low v back my wedding gown has.
