Me! It’s 6AM on my freaking day off, and I was having so much sickness and stomach pains that it woke me up and there was no way I could fall back asleep. I’m not as far along as you though, only about 10 weeks in. I am just praying that this goes away in a few weeks as I move into my second trimester and I have a slight reprieve where I can eat and sleep like a normal person before I’m further along like you.

My pregnancy was like that for the last couple months, too.  For the acid reflux, try avoiding dairy and oily foods and see if that helps.  My acid reflux disappeared when I cut dairy and oil from my diet, and it comes back when I add it back in.  Taking daily antacids helps, but long term use can lead to malabsorption of vitamins/minerals that you and your baby need, and having the reflux long term is definitely not healthy either.  Hope you feel better soon!

I have insomnia myself, and it sux. though mine is probably mostly related to the fact that I’m a shift worker, I think it’s worsened by me being pregnant, especially now that I’m 33 weeks along, I’m just getting uncomfortable and unable to stay comfortable for long when sleeping.

@Nickles9911:  Thats usually me too, I typically have to spend a couple hours during the night on the couch in a different position for my back and hips. We just have to keep telling ourselves that 🙂

DH was just laughing at me, because I told him I couldn’t understand why I was still so tired after I actually managed to sleep for six hours straight the other night.  He thought it was hilarious that I found six hours of sleep a good night’s rest.  He’s not the one waking up most nights at least every two – three hours.

I went through a sleepless spell between 6 and 8 weeks but now at 9 weeks, I have a cold and a sore throat from drainage that is making it impossible to sleep 🙁 I’m hoping I can take some sick time this afternoon (have meetings all morning) because there’s no way I’ll make it to 5. I got maybe 4 hours of sleep 🙁

@Nickles9911:  Hey there are you drinking anything when you eat?  I know for me if I drink water with my meal it gives me heart burn/indigestation.  You might try cutting back on fluids while eating or the smaller meals.

As for not sleeping I’m 34 weeks and I just started to not sleep all through the night.  Ugg!  Mine is more of the nesting thing.  I can’t sleep because I know there are things to do.  So I get up and do something.
