Fiance and I, my sister and her long term boyfriend, my other sister and my mum are all heading to the Gold Coast (Queensland, Australia) for 10 days in September. We live in Australia so this isn’t a massive trip but we’re all very much looking forward to it. Fiance and I leave for our 2 week honeymoon in New Zealand on Boxing Day and then we meet his mother, sisters and their SO’s in Bateman’s Bay (NSW, Australia) for a week in January.

sarathemermaid: Hey! Great thread idea. I am a UK bee and off to Budapest in September for a hen do. That is about it for this year as have friends coming from the states to come stay with me so won’t have much leave left. Next year I would love to do Slovenia, and my sister has just done Copenhagen and LOVED it. My dream trip is a tour of Japan but that is going to take SO much saving!!!!! (Maybe one to do when I meet my dream man!)

I have an 8 day trip to Sardinia planned on early July! I am staying in Italy for a traineeship for a year, so it’s not far travelling, but I am originally a northern-eastern European, so I’ve never been anywhere this warm and “tropical”. I’m going with my boyfriend who accidentally told me around a week and a half ago that his stone is with the jeweler, so I don’t know if it’s realistic to expect a ring to be ready by then for him to finally pop the question in Sardinia! I’ve been waiting for 10 months for him to do it (since my initial semi-proposal when we agreed that we would actually get engaged in a year), so it’s high time he did ask! Clearly I have high hopes for the trip, but at the same time I don’t know whether a ring could be made in this timeline! It drives me nuts!
truthah: Yay Tuscany! I am currently in Florence for a year working as a trainee! I bet you’re loving it here apart from 10 people in every square meter haha!

karrotcakes: I’m the same way with my boyfriend. It has been about 10 months in the waiting phase and since looking at rings so I’m going insane! Early congrats on what I’m sure will be a near proposal 🙂 And have fun in Italy!!!
tiptulips: Wow it seems like everyone is going to Japan lately. I’ll have to look into going someday 🙂
MsBeer: I’m sure Budapest would be amazing. I’ve heard that’s a fairly cheap area to travel to so I bet you will be able to have a lot of fun!
JessieFay13: Aw I’ve heard AUS is beautiful. My dad goes every few years for work and he says it’s a gorgeous country and the people are super friendly 🙂

sarathemermaid: Yeah! I have heard pints are £1 – so perfect for a hen do! 🙂

Nothing amazing like all the other Bee’s. We have a staycation coming up. Took a full week off work, but around 4th of July weekend, so it’s going to be 12 days off.
In Oct we are going to Chicago for a friends wedding. I’ve never been, so we are taking a few days there too.

We are going to Las Vegas for 6 nights in August for our vacation/my birthday. We have been doing this the last few years and love it because we are poolside in a cabana at the mgm relaxing everyday and get out at night for shows and some good food.
We are also planning on Hawaii for our honeymoon next May.

musicluvr325: Oooh sometimes staycations are the best 🙂 It’s so nice to just relax sometimes.
desirella: I still haven’t been to Vegas! I’ve heard it’s amazing 🙂

We have a bunch of little getaways planned throughout the summer–weekend trips. But we have Vegas in the fall (it was a Christmas gift) and shortly after, a cruise to Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Kitts! After that–Scotland/Ireland.
These trips are great–I’m happily jealous of the Italy and Greece ones. Those are on my bucket list….so many things to see!
