All of these would flow so much better with John as the first name. He could always be called by his middle name, but I love John Elliott, as opposed to Elliott John.

Ha that’s interesting, my nephew’s name is Theodore Elliott. Teddy, for now. I like both of those names (Elliott with 2 t’s) and Oliver.

I said Oliver, but would vote for Theodore if you plan to call him Teddy. I like Teddy as a nickname better than Ollie, but Oliver better than Theodore.

Sorry, but Elliot John immediately brings Elton John to mind.  I couldnt do that to my kid.

I love all the other choices though and think they all pair well with John.  I think Emmett might be my favorite

Elliot and Oliver flow best with John. I do like the name Theodore, but I really don’t like the way it sounds with John.

    I’d pick Elliot. One T.

These are all pretty trendy, if that matters to you. I have a 1 year old and literally considered all of these! I love Oliver but it is sooooo popular I couldn’t do it. My favorite was Elliott (I think 2 Ts looks best) but my husband didn’t like it.

I agree that Elliott John is too much like Elton John.  I’ve never much liked Oliver, and wonder if an adult man would like being called “Teddy”.  Love Emmett John though…

Oliver John is lovely. Elliot John too. I think Theodore is fine if you are Greek and Emmet not fine at all, sorry . Puts me in mind of some corncob smoking dungareed type, which IS fine if you are one,  of course lol
