If she dropped out of your wedding over a guy, who is to say she wouldn’t drop out again closer to the wedding? I say find a new Maid/Matron of Honor, and don’t be bothered with their drama. This is your wedding, you don’t want those negative memories associated with it.

@Jw1724:   Your former MOH’s Boyfriend or Best Friend seems to be isolating her – a classic technique for abusers.  I am so sorry for her.

While I understand your Fiance does not wanting to meet him, or have them at the wedding,  I hope you can somehow stay in touch with her to be there when she needs you.  Sooner or later, she may truly need help to get away from her Boyfriend or Best Friend.

@Jw1724:  she let you know youre not friends anymore so NO she is not invited to the wedding, much less your Maid/Matron of Honor.

I say just tell her thanks but no thanks and be done with the drama.

@Jw1724:  Idk if you are religious, but I always take these moments in life as God exposing someone so I don’t put my faith in them at the wrong moment. I had a falling out with my ex-best friend back when I was 21. Now that I am 24, getting married, I’m SO thankful that she is not in my life. She would have completely flaked on me during so many moments in the last 3 years. I would say goodbye!

Definitely do not have this girl in your wedding party…….

As for being a guest…. i would wait closer to the date of the wedding to invite her…..

I wouldn’t let her back in. How insulting that she treated you that way. Hopefully her and her bf don’t last and you two can rekindle later on down the road. But for now, I would leave her alone.

@Jw1724:  No, I totally understand. Maybe give it sometime. I think she definately needs to get away from bf first.
