dilynrae :  Sounds like you guys are on the same page now, which is great.

Just try to remember, even if he’s already ordered the ring, the proposal still may not come for a while. Don’t let that dampen your happiness though!!!

I understand you don’t want to spend much money but this is your engagement ring and you want it to last more than a few months! It’s going to be so special to you, it’s not the cost that matters it’s the quality! It needs to be able to last until you die in my opinion. $14 couldn’t even be silver!

On the actual question, you definitely aren’t just getting your hopes up! He’s going to propose 100%! 🙂

Yayy, very happy to hear this update! Hopefully he continues to help out around the house more, and hopefully a proposal is in your near future! 🙂

Ah so exciting! Sounds like you guys are on the right path! I’m glad he gave you a timeline of 6 months. It’s nice to have a general idea of when it’ll happen.

And I did exactly the same thing with giving my now husband quite a few rings to choose from. We loved it. It was enough help for him because he has no idea what he’s doing, but I gave him options from $200-$3000 so he didn’t feel financially pressured. And I knew he could pick what he liked but I would still love it too! I wish more people realized how easy that set up is.

Keep us posted on the pending engagement!
