So, I was very nervous about my interview and asked you bees for advice. Here I get there and the interviewer sits down and tells me I am a “gift” and basically doesn’t ask me any questions. I had the skills perfectly matched for the job and basically could have the position if I wanted it. The only question she asked me was why I liked being a medical transcriptionist! I had practiced my strengths and weaknesses and five years from now, etc………. over and over in my head. All I had to do was show up obviously.
I waited a day and a half to decide if I wanted the job, as it is more high stress and now every day I will have to dress up, ugh, after wearing scrubs every day for five years. That will be tough. But life is all about changes and learning, so thanks to all who helped me when I was so panick stricken! I start on the 19th and now will not have to worry about being on unemployement. My current office is going under and soon.

Thanks guys! Upwards and onwards, right?! LOL…….. I just was crunching the numbers for being on unemployment and geez it was basically impossible! I am very fortunate the position presented itself when it did because transcription jobs in my area are very few and far between.
