WTF!? Is she for real!? I missed the beginning of this story. I am going to have to go back and read this! Sounds like a doozy! Did you get your cat back?

I’m sorry but this is ridiculous. What is she going to do, relate every hair ball or time the cat did something cute? “This one time, Fluffy curled up in the sun, and I rubbed her belly, and she purred. It was such a lovely 5 minutes.” ….. “Oh oh! And this other time, she was eating her food, and she pushed it off the plate with her nose!” I love my cats, but when we go away and my Brother-In-Law or neighbour cat-sits for us, we come home, snuggle the cats, say thanks to whoever was here, give them a bottle of wine or something, and we all move on with life.

Fucking crazy cat lady!!!! I would want to respond as well, but its best not, since she obviously refuses to see any way but hers.

@bakerella: Exactly!! There is no play by play! My sister dog and cat sits while we are away, and sometimes, if there is a particularly funny story or something, she will tell us, but for the most part, its just “thanks for watching them, glad you got some time away from mom.” LOL

@MrsSl82be: Ya exactly! One time while DH and I were dating, I was in Florida with my parents and he was taking care of the cats at my condo. One of the cats spun around in a circle projectile vomiting/having a hairball and he had to clean it up, he was not impressed. That’s a funny story. I know nothing else about what happened while I was gone. I can’t even think of one thing my Brother-In-Law has told me for the times he’s cat-sat for us…..

@frustrated: Maybe you could get her a self-help book? Oooh that was sort of mean. LOL!

@frustrated: Agreed. Anything vet related or behaviour related, you need to know. Having the cat present to be “debriefed”? Ridiculous. What is the cat going to nod or interject with an explanation?!

Glad that you were able to get closure from this finally. Now promptly lose her number and email and forget that she exists until you have to see her again at some function.
