Thank you for the update! Sounds like an interesting experience. Are you going to try fasting again in the future, or just supplement your meals with juices from time to time?

Would you be able to share your exact recipes that you used? I know there are recipes online, but I feel overwhelmed with options and a lot of them contain lemons, which I detest lol.

@burris4  have you looked into the paleo? if not, you really should..it’s no grains/no dairy/no legumes(soy)/nothing processed basically…it sounds like it might be a great solution for you! your headaches may have been attributed to a wheat allergy or even dairy….a friend of mine had migraines for YEARS until she realized that she was allergic to wheat and now she doesnt eat it and voila! no migraines! congrats either way…im sure this is a great jumpstart to a cleaner & healthier lifestyle!

It sounds like it worked somewhat well… Will you try it again, maybe for a few days at a time?

Glad you had the good sense to stop the fast when it was no longer working for you! I also get really cranky when I’m hungry.

I’ve always wondered about these fasts. Day 5 sounds kind of scary, but good to know pain and headaches were gone.

Ive done intense low carb/ no carb diets before. The first time was no carb. I hit a point were I was getting intense headachesand was about to pass out. When I do low carb my hubby usually stops me after a week or two because I get too grumpy for him ( not my personality). I guess if I try this I’ll have to do it with caution and stop if I get grumpy.

Thanks for the update!

I find it really interesting that you felt angry and impatient on day four. I have been told by others that this happens to some women that go on the carb free diet as well.

I am always trying to eliminate soy as much as possible from my diet but it is in EVERYTHING, even when it shouldn’t be. 🙁

@MrsFuzzyFace:  Is juicing better than using a blender? I don’t know much about juicing. Just instinctively though, it seems you would be able to get more fiber and stuff by blending into smoothies.
