Good for you!! I would just keep it simple, and too the point. There’s nothing he can really do to you, since you are quitting! Are you giving notice, or this is going to be your last day?

Don’t worry too much! What’s the worst he can say? For you to just leave today and be done? Oh well, cause then you can relax before starting the new job.

This is all for the better!

So will this be your last day? If you are nervous about telling him I would just call and leave a message or email him when you get home. I quit a job by email once because my supervisor was insane and woudl yell really close to my face which annoyed me and scared me at the same time… lol Good luck though!

Just wanted to pop in and say good luck! I know it’s tough to let someone who is a bully know that you’ll be leaving your job, but you can absolutely do this! Like Crisark said, the worst he can do is just yell and tell you to go home immediately. That will just be a confirmation that you did the right thing!

I had a similar boss and had to do the SAME thing about a month ago. It was terrifying but so liberating! You can do it!! I threw up beforehand 🙂 Hopefully that won’t happen to you! Stand your ground and be assertive. You’re in control here!! Good luck and congratulations on the new job!

Well, like you said, if he’s mean, quit today. If he’s nice about it, then train the replacement. You can do this!!!

Dont worry!! You will do great. Just keep it short sweet and to the point. There isnt a whole lot he can do or say. Just keep your chin up and good for you taking a new job!!!
