Hello fellow weddingbees. This is just my weight loss update. Well it’s been 20 days of dieting and working out..and I’ve lost 10lbs. I don’t feel hungry anymore and I have a ton of more energy than ever before. I see all these beautifully toned, buff people in the gym and it just pushes me harder to get like that. If they can do it, why can’t I?
I do have a cheat day where on Saturday’s I eat any type of food I want. That doesn’t mean I go crazy and eat a whole pie of pizza…it just means that I’ll eat 2 or 3 slices and then walk away…or have a cup of ice cream (but I really want to eat the whole hagan daz pint) lol…It’s a cheat day with terms, is how I look at it. If you’ve been good all week, than your allowed a cheat day in the week. So I can’t wait for tomorrow to come…lol…
10lbs in 20 days does seem a lot, but obviously the beginning month is always the month that you’ll lose the most weight, since it’s water weight and fat.
I’ve stuck to my workout everyday (except Saturdays). I do interval walking/running 6 times a week for 3-4miles a day, and then I do strength training 4x a week – legs, abs, arms, back. It’s helped me become slimmer and my jeans are fitting so comfortably now…omg…before my jeans were so stretched and you could totally tell I was trying to fit my big butt into them..lol..but thankfully, they don’t feel as tight anymore…
We can do it ladies!! Stick to it and the end results will be phenomenal. Please post about your weight loss. I’d love to read about them. It gives me inspiration that other women are going through the samethings I am. It totally gives me strength to keep going..So please don’t by shy to post =]

I am trying to kickstart my weight loss/exercise regime now. We’re 8 months until the wedding and I want to lose 20 pounds, except I’d like to lose it before February/March (when I get my dress altered).
Right now I am just trying to get some exercise every day. Last night I walked the dog for an hour and then did an arm weight routine. I do think I need to kick it up a notch for sure though!! Let’s help eachother 🙂
How much more weight do you want to lose?

congrats lady! i love your determination and dedication.
i’ve given up on the wedding diet (as we are only 8 days out!)… but what i’ve learned is that portion control (stopping eating when i’m full) and moderate exercise (3-4x week) is the KEY to being fit and maintaining my weight 🙂
i’m definitely excited that this whole wedding has put into gear a lifestyle change for Fiance and i 😀

I want to lose about 35-40lbs more…dress fitting is coming up around the corner and I’m totally getting nervous…I just hope I get to my goal weight in time. I’m 5’5 and I wanna be around 126-130lbs. I hope I hope I get there in time..
@missjyc:yeah I feel the same way. I don’t know what would have motivated me to get off my butt than this wedding..I’m glad both of us are on the right track. I send ya good vibes on your weight loss!

Congrats on losing 10lbs! I just started a diet yesterday. I’ve really let myself go. I’ve always been a little overweight but it got pretty bad since having my daughter. I recently realized that everytime she snacks i snack! So everytime she has a cookie, mommy has a cookie or a chicken nugget or something super fattening lol. Im farely new to the bee & its great motivation to see other bees sticking to a diet. 🙂 My babygirl is my motivation)
