lolee82: I agree with the Neil Lane rings being over priced for what they are. My husband picked my rings out as a replacement of my lost ering so I can’t complain. He did upgrade my center stone to a Leo diamond with better specs but I still think it wasn’t worth the price. Now don’t get my wrong it’s a gorgeous ring and sparkles like no tomorrow but chain stores tend to be really over priced. I havnt had any issues with stones falling out but a friend of mine has the same ring but with a round brilliant center stone and she’s lost 2 melee diamonds since January. My husband and I just purchased a loose diamond from JamesAllen.com and he was shocked at how low the prices are in comparison to kay and is a bit angry with himself for not researching before hand. I still love my rings because he picked them for me but its a little too blingy for my everyday style so I’ll be switching to a solitaire soon. So talk to your SO and make sure he is aware of the huge mark up that goes along with chain stores.
