I posted last week about my crazy, unpredictable cycle.
Well, I sorta have an update, but it’s only gotten more confusing and frustrating. I POAS twice since my post, once on 11/3 (CD 37) and on 11/9 (CD 43). Both BFN.
Yesterday, I had some (TMI) brown discharge. More like what I get on the last day of my period than on the first. Since then, nothing!!! There were no extracurricular activities this weekend because I was convinced I was about to get my period, so that couldn’t have been the cause….
I’m seriously jumping out of my skin with frustration.
I googled PCOS and except for unpredictable periods, I have no other symptoms. I have a very healthy BMI, no acne or facial/body hair, and I have no discomfort when I have periods.
So….was yesterday the start of CD1? Or was it just a continuation of my never ending 5th cycle off BC?

@ExcitedScaredBee: Typically, we consider the first day of bright, red flow to be CD1. LOTS of women spot before their period… I suspect it wlll come any day now.
As a spotter myself, sometimes I’ve noticed that treadmill time helps me start a teetering shark week. Maybe that will help?
Sorry about your long cycle…If you have no other symptoms of PCOS, I bet that you are still just regulating. If you reach 60 days, it’s time to make a doctor’s appointment to have a period medically induced.

@ChuckNorris: Thank you for your insight.
I’m now on day 3 of VERY light brown spotting. CD 46 of no real AF.
I think if this goes on one more day, I’m going to make a Dr. appointment. I feel like crying 🙁

@ExcitedScaredBee: Well, GL with everything! I hope you get answers soon. There are lots of bees with long, irregular cycles (>50 days). I definitely think charting would help you get a better picture of your cycle.
