You will love it if you love sparkle -2.22 if I were to do it again I make it a tiny bit smaller because the Amora gem has so much fire that it’s very eye-catching I wasn’t really prepared for that;)

Ive had mine for just under a year and its still as gorgeous as the day i got it. I get constant compliments.
My rings are platinum with f/g colored vs+ sidestones size 5 (a little loose) and i have surprise sapphires under the head of the halo. Designed by me and made by David Klass.
Center is a 1.87ct G vs2 ๐
Beachgal81: your stone looks so beautiful in that picture!
Beachgal81: It is definitely a beautiful ring and I know exacty what you mean about maybe getting a smaller stone. Originally I was looking at 2ct. Now I am looking at no bigger than 1.4 I have petite hands too ๐
MissJulianna: sooo pretty! I just love it, thank you for sharing.
I called Gold and Gems in Oregon yesterday and spoke to the Amora Gem master himself (AKA Ron). We might be in the works of creating an eternity setting for my ring if they don’t already have one similar to the setting I liked online. Any one work with this company for their Amora??
I’m obsessed with mine! Can’t wait till I get to wear it full time.I got it straight from Better Than Diamonds but have heard good things about Gold and Gems. Mine is an F color 2.21
I’ve had mine for over a year now and I’m still in love with it! I’ts a 2.02ct E IF set in a Tiffany knife edge repro. Finger size 5.75:
tjacob2014: that gem!!! Wow!!!
Mrs.Bill: your gem is on fire in the second photo! Just love it ๐
Anyone else have an Amora to share!? Don’t be shy!
caritcake: Yes, I worked with Ron at Gold and Gems! AMAZING experience. He really created a stunning piece, and it’s exactly what I’d hoped for. He’ll work with whatever your timeline is, but for what it’s worth, we didn’t give him a timeline — just let him do his thing. It took a few months, which was totally fine by us and, more importantly, landed us with more than what we could have hoped for. Patience definitely paid off. We worked with him from gem acquisition, through design (we did a fair amount of back and forth — I provided written details and shared a Pinterest board with him for inspitation, he sent back some concept drawings, I described what I liked and didn’t, and then repeat), and then through production. I really couldn’t recommend him strongly enough.
I wish I could share a photo, but I’m awaiting the proposal. It’s in the works. ๐ I’ve seen the ring, though, and it’s perfect — size 7, palladium, 1.61 E IF Amora H&A, with the center stone suspended so you can see it top to bottom, scattered diamonds to either side on the band to sort of simulate stars in the night sky.
nicomachea: I am glad to hear good things about Ron @ Gold & Gems. I was actually starting to get a bit worried because I emailed him twice last week asking a question and he has yet to get back to me. I didn’t know if that was normal or not. I hope he emails me back. I am checking my email like a mad woman! Haha but thought I would give it another few days before I email him again.
I can’t wait to see your ring!! Please come back and update me once you are engaged!!!
This photo might help..
Here is a loose Amora Gem (F, IF) beside a similar sized diamond that is H, SI1. The diamond has a more warmth to it.
Indoor lighting:
Indirect sunlight
lilsweetie: this does help because looking at them side by side, they look the same to me. I don’t see the diamond being warmer. I think I see colors differently though. Hahaha. I will just go with the D more than likely since that is all they have in stock in the carat size I want. Thanks for showing this comparison! I feel like I won’t notice it that much and that I will more than likely, need to see it in person when all is said and done.
Any other amoras!?? Show em off!
caritcake: that is where I got mine!!
