I actually like how she did your hair… buttt. With your dress I vote half up. I like the length of your hair with the low back dress.

Half up.  Your hair down looks gorgeous with the back of your dress.

I don’t like the criss cross pattern in your hair because I prefer a softer look but to each their own!

Half up!!! I agree with PP that your hair looks amazing draped down your open back. I think an updo would look nice too, but I’m not a fan of that one particularly.

Definitely prefer your hair down your back with that dress! The way your hairdresser did that updo looks a bit odd to me.

Half up. Sorry but I really don’t like that updo she did in first pic it reminds me of prom hair circa 1990

your dress is stunning the half up/down will look super nice!

First of all, I love your dress! It was the one I was leaning towards purchasing until I tried mine on, and you look phenomenal in it! I don’t think you can go wrong with either! Both half up and a full updo will look great!

Did you show your hairstylist a picture of what you wanted your hair to look like? If not, when you go for your next trial just tell her you didn’t really like the last one and show a picture of what you want, if you decide to go with it up. Even if you just do it half up, I would still bring a lot of pictures so you can show exactly what you are looking for.

I got married on a really hot and humid day and had my hair half up. Even though both my ceremony and reception were inside, we took pictures outside and you can definitely tell that my hair was getting frizzy/crazy toward the end. I’m usually really lucky with my hair holding curl and having staying power, so just something to think about. I don’t regret the hairstyle I chose, but I can see how someone else in my situation might.

miera31695 :  I like it half up. I think an up do could work, but not the one in the picture…

Oh she is waaayyyyyyyyyy off from the pictures you’ve shown. I would try to explain it to her again and tell her that’s not what you wanted. I personally love the half do so I’m biased lol. I think if you really want to show off the back features then go with the updo, but make sure your hairdresser is understanding it.

I like the half do but I also have a huge personal bias for up do’s. I think most dresses look  better with an up do and, as a PP mentioned, you might want to consider how well your hair holds styling and what it’s going to look like after a while.

I would go back for your second trial and let her know that you weren’t really happy with the first trial. Explain again what you would like and possibly find some more pictures of that style. (It’s beautiful, by the way, and I think it will look amazing with your dress!)

miera31695 :  If those pictures are what you showed her and your hair is what you got, I would seriously consider a different hair stylist. Did she say that she was just playing around, or is that all that she could do with it?

miera31695 :  I love both of those! That is totally not what she did.. honestly if a hairdress cant do a simple low bun like that I recommend you find someone else

The pictures you showed her are neither difficult nor rare..
