I am unsure of how to wear my hair with this dress.
I have been told that an updo would probably be best. I still want to look young and modern though. I was thinking a loose-ish updo, nothing too harsh and severe.

I would suggest a soft, loose up-do.

With all the pretty details at the shoulders, you need to wear it up for sure. Its not for everyone, but I would actually go with something higher, like on the crown, rather than a low updo so the flower and lacey strap show.

Definitely up, to show off the shoulders. I really like the look of loose looking updos.

Definitely a loose up do! It will be stunning!!

I voted “updo”. I agree with others about the pretty straps and how it needs to be seen.

I agree that it needs to be up, but I’d probably do something simple and really low, like a chignon, but I’m also not a fan of curly updo’s since they tend to end up looking frizzy and falling out.

What a stunning dress!
Love all the loose updos suggested by @msfuturea too.

@msfuturea: thank you for those pics. They all look great!
@caits615: ooh I’ve never heard about curls going frizzy. My hair is quite fine so I will have a chat to the hairdresser.

Updo so you don’t cover up all the pretty detail on the straps 🙂

I voted got updo because of the flower on the dress…I love the loose updo posted by msfuturea (first pic with ivory flower in hair). Beautiful dress by the way

@sabiecakes: I just feel like when I see photos of updos in pictures with all the curls it always looks frizzy half-way through the evening. Whether it’s using too much hair spray or the humidity, I don’t know.
