    i would prefer a thinner band – i think the eternity bands as is somewhat overwhelm the ering. i love the stone in the second photo – gorgeous 🙂

    @bnamrs4evr:

    1) Platinum, definitely; personally I don’t see the pros of white gold other than price (and I speak as someone who has had both; upgraded from white gold to platinum)

    2) I couldn’t say what carat weight I think looks best without seeing photos 🙂

    3) For me, the bands in the first photo are too wide; I prefer a narrower band that compliments rather than overpowers the centre stone. But, your stone is much bigger; so again, it’s difficult to say if those specific bands are too big for my taste without seeing a photo 🙂

    Personally, I think both eternity bands are too much with the solitaire ring. One would look great worn below the solitaire, though. Another option would be to have the solitaire set in a diamond band and wear it with a diamond eternity band. That would give you bling but still showcase your solitaire.
