Hi there! I haven’t done this personally, but I think your ring would be beautiful with a single stone (it’s beautiful as is too!)  I know it is possible to upgrade to a single stone. Check with your jeweler that you got the ring at, they may have an upgrade program.  My jeweler has a program where I can trade in my ring and get the retail value of my diamond to spend on any other diamond. I don’t have to upgrade a certain dollar amount. So check if they have a program and what it entails! Good luck!

Don’t see why not! your ring is pretty btw. Maybe even change the head out would be an option. I don’t know if it would be pricey though

From the look of your ring you many not be able to fully replace the head. For sure you could make it a single stone if it is the same MM to fit the head you have. So maybe a 1.5 ct stone?   I would take it to a real jeweler and talk to them about it.

I agree about taking it to a jeweler for a consultation. Make sure you take it to a bench jeweler who is able to work on and craft jewelry. Because the “head” on your ring is set lower onto the band, it may not be possible to fit one large stone into the setting. A head holding a single stone would likely be attached to the band at a smaller point, which would change the way the channels on the side meet the head. Then again, it is possible that a bench jeweler could rework it to make it fit. Good luck!

I would take it to the same place you bought it to have that done if you bought the warranty!! Otherwise if someone else does work on it it will be voided and if side stones fall out of your band you won’t have them under warranty anymore!
