Your ring has such classic elegance!

I was really torn on the band as the petite makes your ering look larger bc the overlap but, the more I looked, the more the shared prong grew on me.  It looks more substantial and I think it is prettier as a standalone for those times when a taller ring isnt practical and you want to only wear your wedding band.

Beautiful ring! I think the finger coverage is perfect in proportion to your finger and hand size.  If you go bigger, you might lose the classic look—this isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you want your ring to be a little more glam and flashy. Keep this size if you’d rather it look more classic.

My vote goes to the shared-prong setting wedding band, especially if you find one with the same proportions as the ring set in the photo! A 3mm band would look great with your engagement ring.

I think it’s a beautiful size. If anything, I’d say the width of the band impacts the appearance of the size of the stone more than the size of your finger.

I have a thing for bubble and breathe bands so I’d love to see how that looked with your ering. If you stick with the wider ering band, I like the chunkier wedding band with it.

I have a very similar engagement ring and I went with the bubble band! It just looks so nice paired with a solitaire!

runningmama :  sure! My e-ring is a 2 carat cathedral solitaire, ring size 7.5. My bubble ring goes less than halfway around, it’s only 7 stones so it stops right about where my fingers touch together. I much prefer it as a non-eternity, since now I don’t have the discomfort of diamonds rubbing against the insides of my fingers and I’m not worried I’ll smash them if I smack my palm on anything too hard. I cant say about the integrity until after the wedding when I can finally wear it, but it definitely feels sturdy! It’s from Helzberg; mine is 1/2 carat total weight, I think they also had a 1cttw option too if I remember right!

runningmama :  Ugh I know, DSS is no joke! I used to get it all the time with my engagement ring, but after adding a half-eternity anniversary band to my stack, my DSS seems to have disappeared. Not sure why that is, but no longer having DSS has given me a newfound appreciation for my ring!

Beautiful ring and it looks great on you! I don’t think it gets lost at all, it’s a great size! I voted bubble band after seeing Mickeynicki’s ring…..it’s just stunning!

runningmama :  I think the size is perfect on your finger! I voted for the bubble & breathe, I’m biased though 😉
