I would get a new setting. That’s what I did for my upgrade (and my stone is a bit smaller than yours) and I’m thrilled with it! I think your stone is a good size for your hand and if you want some extra sparkle, get a new setting and matching band!

No, i think yours is gorgeous the way it is. But it’s your choice. I don’t plan to update the ring I will be getting. As far as I’m concerned, a forever ring is a forever ring until the day I die, unless it gets lost . I would be sentimental towards it, honestly. You asked about this recently, no? I think you should reset it if you cant stand it. Don’t mean to be rude! πŸ˜›

New setting. I like your stone and you can do so much with it.

If Fiance were supportive and finances allowed, I would get a bigger diamond. I love your setting though.

Wait… What happened to your oval diamond halo ering?

I hate when posters get bashed for having a love of erings and wanting something different or bigger. To each their own. If you’re sentimental great, if not, that’s ok too!

OP I love what you have there (solitaire gal myself).  When do you get married? I might get a really nice blingy band before you reset this beauty. Though, I do love me a larger stone so, if finances and DH allow, I would do that and leave the setting! Enjoy. Isn’t that what jewelry is for?

I think your ring is the perfect size for your finger. But I know I would rock a bigger stone in a hot second if I had it! But I do think a blingy band would look really nice with your current setting.

Mrs_BunInTheOven:  New setting, the rock is gorgeous and there are a lot of options.
