I bought a kit of Martha Stewart invite kit for a steal. However, it is rather bland. I figured I would dress these up. However, I am drawing a blank on how to dress up a standard card. The color scheme is Raspberry and tangerine with polka dots. The Invites are 5×7 white with a row of alternating polka dots down the side. The envelope is white with a raspberry and lighter pink polka dot mattern. How can I use these cards for my standard invites?
Has anyone ever taken one of these kits and added to it?

Can you post a pic? I would use a cuttlebug machine. It does some really nice embossing. Thats what I did to jazz up my invites and added ribbon. But a piccy would be nice to see what suggestions to give 🙂

I am adding embelishments to my plain white invite kits. I am adding envelope liners, and backing to my RSVP and reception cards (not the actual invite itself, which is attached to the tri-fold) with a deep blue paper and adding a sunflower stamp to the envelope liner and back of the RSVP and reception cards. I also changed the ribbon that came with the invites to deep blue. I found pretty much all of my inspiration by looking at what Bees had done or are doing. Mrs. Cupcake’s invites were AMAZING.

I would post a pic but I just packed them up yesterday because we are moving to MI in two weeks. I can’t seem to find them on the web other then the site that you go to set up the printing format.
I was thinking maybe a belly band around the middle with colored things but I don’t know what all you put in the invite other then the rsvp.
