A lot of DJs may include them in their packages. I would start with your DJ first.

Unfortunately my venue only allowed one vendor for lighting and it cost me $2500 ugggghhhh but the space looked so beautiful it was worth it.

So the battery powered, chrome LED uplighters are the most expensive.  But an LED floor can even a normal parcan with colour filter over the top will be much cheaper per unit.

Have you checked with your DJ to see if they offer them as part of a package? We got super lucky with ours because my Fiance knows our DJ personally and he is setting up uplighting in our reception space as a wedding gift to us (saved us $1000+). Most DJs in my area offer them with their bigger packages though so I would start there.

I’m planning on renting my uplighting through rentmywedding.com, you can see their reviews on google and on weddingwire.com. I’ve also seen other similar companies that offer uplighting for a lot less than a dj would charge.

emb35543 :  We got them for free as a part of a wedding trade show special.  We also got 10% off the price by paying in full when we booked.

Definitely check with your DJ! Ours offer them but our venue already has uplighting in our reception space so we’re paying a nominal fee to use theirs instead of having our DJ bring them in but it wouldn’t have been to pricey to add it to our package with them either.
