(Closed) Uplighting for our venue? Should we toss it out and go with it?

    I think you could still use them for your cocktail lounge area or around the dance floor.

    Oooooh use it on all the awesome columns! It’ll add so much special drama to the room and the architecture! (i’m also doing uplighting, so i’m a little biased!)

    I agree, uplighting adds drama to any room. I always like a classic soft gold color that’s universally flattering on skin tones. I didn’t think about it until I bought gels for our uplights and the lady was showing me different colors and showing me how it affects skin tones for photos. There’s a gel color that’s literally has “perfect skin tone” in the title!

    Send pics to the company doing the lighting, they can advise you on what it will look like. I’m not sure if you meant you bought the service or the equiptment. If you just have the equiptment, you could potentially ask an uplighting company what they would do to your venue, or search flickr for pics of your venue with uplighting.
