(Closed) Uplighting Question–I need some help with this one!

I’ve seen pics from one wedding where they did red and it ruined a lot of pictures (think horror movie). I think gold would be pretty without being too harsh

What about Gold?  It can be warm and not overly harsh but still bright.  I jsut googled  gold uplight wedding pics and they had some so show you how it could look.

Try talking to your photographer- they should be an expert in regards to lighting- and they will tell you which color they prefer to be in all their background shots.

I agree with gold or a warm yellow colour. That’s what we had at our reception and it looked so nice. I think red or orange might be too dark and not really give it the right look.

What about an amber color like a darker version of gold

I agree with amber uplighting… I love the idea of it! Soft glow, not harsh, but enough of an impact:

I would go with gold or amber too!!  I love how uplighting changes the look of a room….we are doing it for sure!!

i really love the gold

do they have the option to change colors? – we had our set to red for dinner/cake cutting/first dances – then when the party started and everyone was dancing the uplights would change to different colors
