Yep I did this, but go to the postcard section of the site because it’s much cheaper than the wedding section. It’s important to make sure you proof it very closely though before you put the order in. Good luck!

I have uploaded my own designs quite a few times and they have come out great, but they are designs I make myself in Photoshop. There is a template on vistaprint that you can download that shows you the proper sizing and where the bleed and trim lines are. If you download a design from somewhere just make sure the specs are correct.

Kazza:  I agree with the postcard route. We uploaded our own design for our thank you postcards and it was a fraction of the cost of the wedding options. I think we spent $25 for 100, and they came out great!

I did my own design and uploaded it to Vistaprint. Something to keep in mind is that Vistaprint’s sizing is not standard, so actually look at the dimensions and compare to the designs you are looking at. Downloading the template as someone else said is also a good idea. You can also ask Etsy designers if they have uploaded their designs to Vistaprint before and if they are familiar with the dimensions.

summerbride0815:  I uploaded my own designs.  I didn’t buy off etsy or zazzle, but yes when you pay someone to design them it’s assumed you’ll upload it to a printing site and have them printed, that’s perfectly fine.
