I lasered my upper lip and chin. Side effect, it also cleared up my skin.

I have very blonde hair, and it is only noticeable when I had the airbrush makeup on for my makeup trial. So I bought a little detail razor and shaved my upper lip for the wedding day. Easy peasy.

I’ve been doing electrolysis for a couple years now. I have not had any issues with scarring. It makes sense that fair skin/haired women would have problems with laser. It isn’t designed for fairer hair because it only picks up on certain pigmentation, increasing the likelihood of damaging the skin. Electrolysis is a different method altogether.

I just had to say, after reading your post I ordered some Tinkle razors off of Amazon and I am super happy with them! Good recommendation!

I feel like my hair removal routine is just… too much.
I wax my own lip, eyebrows and chin.
I shave the fuzzies off of the side of my face
I pluck strays as needed/ the rogue chin hair that pops up
I started going to the salon to get my nosehair waxed every 3-4 weeks

Honestly, if you are threading your eyebrows, and you are a little insecure, just give threading your upper lip a chance! It’s super easy and you don’t have to bother with the bleaching stuff (which I’ve had terrible experience with). I thread my upper lip and even if it’s for my own sanity, I definitely feel more comfortable doing it. That being said, it’s YOUR body and it is what YOU’RE comfortable with.

Im italian so of course mine is dark but I shave it with a Twinkle razor and have no issues with it coming back darker or more course. The shaving can give it a blunt edge instead of tapered so some “old lady hairs” might seem thicker but they are not. The blunt edge is gone within a day but Im obsessive and pluck it immediately!! Lol
