Decorating for Christmas and Hanukkah it hit me, we don’t have to debate over who’s house we spend which holiday at! We will be with my parents for Christmas and Easter and his parents for Passover, Hanukkah, and whatever other holidays they want. That is… if they fly us out to them or come to us. They do live in a different state. But still! No fighting over that!
Anybody else find any upsides?

There’s not only no discussion over who you’re celebrating with that year but you also get to celebrate more holidays. AND if I’m feeling particularly impatient for my gift that year we can always do our gift exchange over Hanukkah so I don’t have to wait till Christmas. 😉 Peppermints and gelt. Double your religion, double your fun. 🙂

@claireos: Peppermints and gelt. Double your religion, double your fun. I litterally laughed out loud and I had to share with Mr. Hedgie.
