My friends had a gorgeous kosher wedding at Wave Hill in the Bronx. I don’t think the caterer was in house, but the venue was stunning and the food was sooo delicious! Check out Wave Hill and I thinit my friends used their recommended kosher caterer.

Not sure exactly how many minutes from where you are in Manhattan, but try Cresthollow Country Club in Woodbury. They do  both Kosher and non kosher weddings (they have a separate kosher kitchen).  I don’t know if they have changed the grounds but I got married outside there. They even had a wooden chupah that our florist just added a few greens to.  Good luck.

Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park does Kosher catering I believe… I’m not positive but it’s worth looking at, it’s a beautiful place!

My wedding is there this summer.  I haven’t been to an event there, but I hear great things.  I know everyone says that about their venue, but I was very impressed with their presentation about how the service is run.  White glove service, waiter to each table, etc.  They are very strict with their wait staff and how they perform.

Supposedly the food is great, but I haven’t had it yet (we do our tasting closer to the wedding.)  People have raved about the food (again, I know everyone says that – but the pages and pages of options I got sound awesome!)

If you go to liweddings.com and search, you can find reviews for girls who have already had their event there.  I have a few months still but I’m VERY happy with the choice.  Let me know if you have any other questions!

I tried to answer before but I don’t think it posted.  I haven’t had my tasting yet but the food is supposed to be excellent.  They made a great presentation for their service – of course the wedding hasn’t happened yet, but we’ll see 🙂 anyone who has been to a wedding there says it’s wonderful.

I looked in a magazine I have that listed Kosher available.  Check out:

Bourne Mansion

Bridgeview Yacht Club

Chateau La Mer

Crest Hollow

East Wind

Larkfield Manor

Sands at Atlantic Beach

Swan Club

Terrace on the Park

Crescent Beach Club

Garden Ciy Hotel

The Mansion at Woodside Acres

The Woodlands

Village Club at Lake Success

Waterview Club

(Sorry this was so long!!! I tried to edit for ones that fit your parameters but I’m not familiar with all of these venues.  They’re all listed in Long Island Bride&Groom as “Kosher available”

What did you decide?

I had a hard time finding places that would allow outside caterers!  We wound up going with Temple Shaaray Tefila in Mt. Kisco, NY – it is a synagogue, which you said you didn’t want, but it’s gorgeous and you can have your ceremony outside instead of in the sanctuary (which is what we’re doing, weather-permitting).  I’d definitely recommend it so far.

Try Rockleigh Country Club , they have a small room for 120 guests and they have kosher food.

@WillBeMrsD:  Our upcoming wedding is at Carlyle this coming may. It is a glatt kosher wedding, mashgiach and all. It’s also VERY inexpensive for kosher! It’s beautiful!
