Any recommendations for fairly inexpensive honeymoon locals in the US? I should mention, I’m a Canadian bee, who has never gone to the states.
We’re not decided on exactly what “type” of honeymoon. Probably somewhere nice/pretty where we can spend some quality time but somewhere that also would have activities for us to do. Note, we’re not super outdoorsy/hiking ppl soo i’d like a city location. Also, hoping for a fairly inexpensive place since if we had a big budget, we’d probably go further from home. Thanks!!

Come to Boston! Or what about Myrtle Beach?

Check out the trip deals on orbitz and other travel websites. They often have great deals for flight and hotel.
San Francisco is great because you get a lot within driving distance. A cool city with great culture, beaches, wine country, redwoods etc.

San Francisco is our favorite “big city” (we are outdoorsy, so we avoid trips to big cities as much as possible). It can get pricey, but can be budget friendly if you are careful.
If you like wine, Sonoma and/or Napa might be nice (for the most part we prefer the Sonoma wineries, but Napa might be a little more tourist friendly).
Santa Fe can be fun, but unless you love art, it might get a little boring.

1. Chicago—you can stay in the burbs and take the Metra line in (if you stay in Evanston you can take the purple line all the way downtown). TONS to do in the summer!! Also, you can get great deals on hotels using hotwire.
2. Key West, FL—We stayed in a Bed & Breafast and found relatively inexpensive places to grab dinner. Since you are getting married in the off season, lodging would be cheaper. Plus there are many places with CHEAP happy hour specials. I *love* Key West.
3. Napa or Sonoma, California.
4. Yellowstone National Park
5. Las Vegas
Trying to rack my brain for other places to visit………….I’ll have to get back at you later 🙂

Cape Cod massachusetts? If you plan to go in the summer there are beautiful beaches, small towns to walk around, shop, great restaurants. Hotels can book very quickly but if you start looking now you could find some great deals. You could also take a ferry to either Nantucket or Marthas Vineyard for a day. Both places are amazing.

Boston and San Francisco are my fave US cities that are affordable. NYC is my fave city that is not affordable. 😉
