We are doing can coolers (or koozies) for our favors! We are going to get them personalized with our names and wedding date.  I was at a wedding a long time ago and the couple gave these as favors….people still talk about what a great favor it was.

The only thing I’ve ever used was a wine stopper

I had our names & wedding date printed on ballpoint pens. I figure everyone needs pens, right?

We are doing seeded paper so our guest can plant the cards after the wedding and flowers will grow

I like the wine stopper idea A LOT.  I will point out though that I’m almost definitely not going to use something if it has the couple’s name and/or date on it. I think it’s weird personally.. I’d rather just have something pretty.  I know I got it at a wedding, I don’t need a reminder in print.

the only thing i’ve ever kept is a wine stopper and soap (it smelled but we had just moved and needed something in the bathroom).

i dont take anything with the wedding date on it unless its like, my immediate family because i feel obligated.

I’m another that won’t use anything with the couples name or date it’s weird. I have no clue if we’re going to even do favors, other than something edible. I think they’re kind of weird but maybe something that’s kind of more popular right now and usable like an eco friendly water bottle or reusable grocery bag. They’re both weird wedding favor ideas but I’d totally think it was a usuable favor and be exciteds to get that.

I’m knitting and crocheting 100 scarves. I figure, it’s useful for the day (outdoors in November), and if someone doesn’t like it they can give it to someone who will use it.

Depending on the length of time you have been together..longer the better, I heard of an egg timer! The label said “about TIME “

We did koozies with the phrase “to have and to hold and to keep your drink cold” on it.  People seemed to love them cause there were none left!

I’m also one of those people that won’t use anything with the couple’s name and wedding date on it.  it feels too much like promotional materials to me.  I think there are some great non edible favors though.  off the top of my head

keychain bottle opener/cork screw

wine stoper

luggage tags

purse valet for women / money clip for men

nice bookmarks

mini salt & pepper shakers

chapstick/lotion/soap
