@lilsweetie: I agree with this. 3 per year per member seems like it’s more fair than having only 3 for each member, for as long as their account lasts. It would still encourage accountability, but would enable us to remove things we posted when very upset, for example, and in a lot of cases, that happens more than 3 times in the term of people’s use of Weddingbee.
Or up the number from 3 to 5, if the 3/year idea doesn’t fly.

The content of a post can be edited or deleted within an hour after posting, but the post itself can’t be deleted. This new feature allows the OP of a thread to delete the entire thread (including the original post and all following comments). If you’re seeing threads in which the OP is missing but the rest of the comments are still there, that’s a tech glitch! If you do see this happening around the boards, flag one of the posts that’s available or post a link to support, and we’ll look into it and pass along to tech as needed to help figure out what’s up.
Hope that helps! 🙂

@Gemstone: Thanks! It looks like the entire threads are now deleted and not just the OPs posts.
Great! Thanks for the thoughtful changes!

I wonder how many people took advantage of this. I only have topics with no replies that are useless now that I’d delete, but I don’t really want to “waste it” on that, ya know.

@lilsweetie: +1! I agree with this. Three for the lifetime of one’s account? That doesn’t seem like the best idea.
This is wonderful !!! I love that you only give three to encourage responsibility. 🙂

@BookGirrl: Me too! I was so worried certain members of my family would see it and be like.. “That little—” 🙂

@AB Bride: True! I’m wondering if that’s a mod deletion/personal information deletion, then. I’ve seen it too, but it’s more common to just see the OP avatar without any text still #1. Strange!

THANK YOU FOR THIS! As a waiting bee, I had some angry posts that I wasnt very proud of posting looking back on now.
