- Wedding: February 2012
While we were vacationing in Jamaica this September, my husband lost his wedding band. We were on an outing on a rather stormy day. My husband climbed a cliff side with the intent of cliff jumping in to the ocean when his wedding band caught on to a piece of coral and flew off in to the ocean below. Him and a bunch of locals tried diving to find it, but to no avail. The water was so rough and stormy, we were certain it was gone for good and were forced to head back to the hotel without it. 🙁
My husband moped around all the next day on our hike, he was so miserable! He spent the whole day beating himself up for losing it. Well when we got back to our hotel that night, we had a message saying someone had found it! Sure enough, when we met up on the shore it was his ring! We could hardly believe it! My husband was so relieved, he gave the man a rather hefty reward. It truly was a miracle!
Well after this incident, I really think it would be a good idea for my husband to have a fill in ring for vacations and outings like this. So, for our anniversary which is coming up in February I want to buy him basically his exact ring except in silver instead of 18k gold.
The only trouble is… I have NO idea what his ring size is anymore! I tried to sneakily get the information out of him, but he didn’t remember either!
Is there any way for me to find out his ring size by using his current wedding band? Now he keeps that ring on almost constantly. He ONLY takes it off when he takes a shower, and then it’s right back on his hand again. If I take it for longer than 15 minutes, he’ll notice for sure.
So… is there any quick way for me to find out his ring size at home using his wedding band?
