I tried it once and it made white crack marks on the vellum. I would get just one sheet and test it out before you buy a bunch.

sorry- do you mean the stamp kind of embosser? Ive tried embossing- like heat embossing- vellum and it looks amazing!  Just be sure not to hold the heat over it too long

It works really well, we have a hand stamp embosser at work that we stamp vellum paper with every day. The trick is to either double up on paper so it increases the thinkness and the pressure of the embosser doesn’t ruin your paper OR you can play around with the pressure you use so that you can emboss one at a time without cutting through the paper.
