My fiance and I are avid readers and we would love to use vintage books in the center pieces at the reception but I am not sure where to get them. Can anyone suggest anything? I need them to not be extremly expensive either.

I would try thrift stores, flea markets, craigslist, even libraries have sales sometimes.

I totally agree with antique stores. I have a collection of Sir Walter Scott novels and I bought all of them through antique stores except for a few that I got from ebay or Amazon.

we are using hard cover books as our table names.. xmas books to be exact…. we went to thrift stores- GOOD will, salvation army ( no book over $1.50!) the dollar store ( yes they have books with interesting covers for $1), yard sales , ebay, walmarts and i found some awesome ones at bridal salons/ other stores..just laying around as decor.. i was able to nab all the books we needed for well under 50 bucks.
Also, Book fairs are the BEST or you can also go to the public lib. and Borrow the old fashioned way
