Using craigslist to boost our room block contract? Need to fill rooms!

It sounds like a good idea as long as your not responsible for anything they do to the room (damages etc.)

Very creative idea but yeah, I would look at your contract and see what charges you will be held accountable for.  Maybe try the classifieds on here.  People here tend to me nicer than craigslist.  It might be a good weekend get away for some brides here. Maybe?

Yeah I agree as long as you’re not responsible for their rooms or expenses AND as long as you can ensure they don’t get any wedding related info, newsletters Out of Town bags etc then go for it, pass on the deal why not.

Yea we hardly had anyone use our room blocks.  I think with the internet there are so many good deals out there without blocks etc.  

However, as long as there isn’t any issue for you, then there shouldn’t be an issue with posting it on craigslist.  I still wouldn’t guess there would be that many people that would book though.  You may want to start thinking of another back up plan.
