- Wedding: September 2013
My initial thought was to fill the vases with clear beads/gems, and put a floralyte in the bottom, but my mom brought up the fact that at my venue we only have the morning of our wedding to set everything up, and will not have time right before the ceremony to turn all the lights in the vases, fill them, and then put the pomander balls on top.
My ceremony and reception will be held in the same ballroom. During the ceremony some of the centerpieces will double as aisle/alter decor and the room will be flipped while the guests are in another room for cocktail hour and we are taking pictures.
Has anyone ever used the floralytes and put them in the top of the vase? I’m thinking maybe we would have time to pop them in the top right before guests start showing up.
How long do the batteries usually last?
Any other suggestions on lighting in the vases?
