Definitely possible if you choose the darker shades of both colors. Love the pic Julies posted, something along those lines would be perfect!

if you google Chinese and Indian weddings, I see a lot of red and green and gold- maybe that can help you

I agree with PP’s-either go with more of the cranberry & evergreen combo, or do one main color and other pops of color. For example, if you like the Christmas red color, use that as a main color, with lots of greenery in your boquets, and don’t be afraid to incorporate other colors to help steer away from the Christmas look. Like plum, blush pink, creams, navy, etc.

I love the Marsala Wedding Color Palette above. I’d go with that palette if you’re looking for red/green/white.
