Wow, your bridal bouquet is AMAZING!  I would never have known it was silk.  You should post a DYI on how to do it!  Would you mind revealing how much all the supplies cost?  I’ve been looking into silks because they’re so much cheaper, and if I could pull off something as gorgeous as yours, I’d definitely do it!

Everything you made looks absolutely amazing! Mine are pretty simple, but I’ve decided to make my centerpieces out of silk flowers.  They were about $15-20 a piece which was much cheaper than it would have been at the florist. [attachment=1500189,189726]

Your bouquet looks great!! I like your simple centerpieces too. I’m going with silks myself and I couldn’t be happier. All I have right now is my bouquet:

Great job! I’m using the real-touch version of silks as well for my bouquet. It’s been crossed off the list as well.

@doingitright: Beautiful everything!!!

I am using silks too. I am allergic to real flowers and I also can’t justify the expense for a one time use.

Can you please tell me how many flowers you used for your bouquet. It is the perfect size and I am having trouble guestimating how many to get for mine.

@doingitright: Thank you so much for responding. I was thinking about 40, but that just seemed like too many, but your bouquet is beautiful. I have been going back and forth with deciding to go with afloral and another real touch store, so it is nice to see what the finished product looks like.
