I have been having a really hard time picking out bridesmaid dresses for my December wedding; my colors are dark blue and purple, and my bridesmaid are all my older sisters. I have been trying to find a practical dress that they could wear after the wedding was over, and my search has been pretty fruitless.
One of my sisters mentioned she really liked the dress I wore for my engagement pictures, and suggested they could possibly wear that style dress (it comes in dark blue and purple). It’s a very nice dress and would go perfectly, but is it tacky?
Here it is online:

Perhaps if they go for the purple rather than the dark blue. But it’s a lovely dress, and I don’t think you should worry about having already worn it for your e-pics.

I think that’s just fine – I’m sure no one will notice.

I don’t think it’s tacky at all, and I really doubt that anyone would notice that you wore it in your e-pictures. Go for it!! And I think they could get away with wearing either color.

I love purple, it’s my favorite color, but with this dress, for wearability… I’d go for the dark blue. Dark blue is classical and will be worn again and again.
Imagine me, the purple queen, going against purple, can’t believe it myself!

I don’t think it’s tacky at all. I was thinking of doing that for my bridesmaids! I would have them try on both colors, and see which ones look best. It’s a lovely dress, you have great taste!
