I’ve been working on Vistaprint to design save the dates, but when i upload a picture to the design it looks very grainy and low resolution, even though they are professional pictures and HUGE files.
Did anyone else have this problem? I’m hoping its just the editor and the pictures won’t actually come out like that.

We used Vistaprint for our Save the Dates. I was worried about the picture quality too. We used a picture from one of our phones. They came out great! We did do a proof and print it out. Watch out it prints out HUGE! But, overall, we were very happy with them.

I noticed that, however I think it’s because it’s not to scale. I ordered my Save-The-Date Cards anyways and they came out just fine.

If you have a decent computer screen and zoom out of the image so that it looks like the real-life size (compare it to the dimensions on the vistaprint website), you can get an idea of if the resolution is too low.

@moose91: You should set your file size to 300dpi. That will get you the rating of “excellent resolution” from Vistaprint. Just because you make your file huge 24×24 instead of 4×4 doesn’t mean it’s a “huge file size” in terms of what makes the best resolution. I made my STD’s and invites in photoshop or imageready in their correct dimensions and THEN changed it to 300dpi. Hope that helps!
