That means that she printed the label from the site and it should have been dropped off or picked up for the seller. A lot of times, it has been sent, but USPS doesn’t update their site all the time. I ordered a book last week and it was here, before USPS said it had been dropped off. Unfortunately, if she sent them Parcel Post it could take longer than if she’d sent them Priority.

Like PP said…most of the time they don’t update the shipping info in a timely manner so that you can “follow” your package.  I wouldn’t worry yet!

USPS is very slow with their tracking, so  I wouldn’t be concerned about that.  I’m sure they’ll show up soon.  🙂

No-they usually end up being faster. Like bridal salons they like to exceed expectations so they quote a certain date and try to deliver it faster.

I’ve found the post office to be quite slow lately.  Even priority mail is taking about 5 days.  I don’t know if it’s because of the holidays or if it’s because they are broke and had to cut a ton of jobs.

It will come. Sometimes when I order things off the web, the only option for shipping is through the USPS. SO I know its gonna take longer then Fedex, and other options. Boy did I have to become patient! lol

Wow.  The USPS in my area is super quick.  I’ve gotten things my mother sent in the morning from the NYC area within 24 hours!

I don’t use Parcel Post, though.  Priority is usually just 50 cents to a dollar more and you don’t need to find a box, packing tape, etc.

Okay, I’m sounding like a commercial.  Give it a few more days if the USPS in your area is slow.

It’s probably because they have mail going back and forth between NYC and larger cities constantly.  I’m not in a huge city, but I live 2 hours from DC and 45 minutes from Richmond.

I think the window on parcel post is 5-14 days, so technically you still have to wait it out in order to file the claim. Have you checked it today–has the status changed?
