mjay :  I’ve had USPS, Fed EX and UPS lose my items for a few days, then they’ve been “found” and delivered. But I’ve also had packages completely lost, but more often than not it’s been OK.

Is the diamond insured? Did you purchase insurance through USPS when shipping it?

mjay :  I’ve had this happen before and they’ve never lost my package.  A lot of times it just got to the facility late, and sat there for an extra day before moving to the next shipping center.  Try to relax! Also, verify that there is insurance for the ring.

Oh no! I hopd it turns up.  There’s been a lot of bad weather causing shipping delays lately, so maybe it’s just delayed due to that?

I hope it’s insured!

That doesn’t mean it’s lost.  There have been disruptions in service due to the bomb cyclone, major flooding and other natural disasters around the country.

sharpshooter :  This.  Nothing in that message indicates it is lost.  Most of my packages the last few weeks have taken longer than usual due to weather.

I’ve heard horror stories about this very thing. That being said it doesn’t sound like the diamond is lost, just delayed. I would have sent it overnight and insured or registered mail.

I think it’ll be fine too, but I also want to know what setting you chose! Lol

I can’t keep up with your projects 😆 I didn’t even realize you had a fiasco with Tianyu and had a champagne OMC. I’ve been wondering about those for a while!

USPS is the absolute worst. Fedex at least tries to help you figure out where things are.

mjay :  serious question…what does “lost” and “found” mean? Did they misplace it?? How does that happen, with so many transactions, you’d think everything would be on a strict packaging and shipping schedule along with major organization.
