(Closed) V cut or U cut in setting? PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE

The difference is subtle but I prefer the V cuts.

I think the V cut is a little more modern looking, where as the U cut is more traditional.  Personally I prefer the U cut.

Mine has V pave, also known as french pave. I noticed in the second video you posted that the halo has V pave and the shank has U prong

ugh how is a girl supposed to choose!!!!!!!!  I vote v.. it’s subtle but there is a difference.  gorgeous!

Came across that dilemma when I was getting my ring made.

In the end, I went with the u-cut.  It just looked…smoother to me, from the side.
