I’m not really waiting for a valentine’s day proposal, but I’m pretty sure he is going to propose in the week after v-day. I am SO excited! I can’t even think straight lol.

I’m definitely hoping for a V-day proposal!  I don’t really think it’s gonna happen, but a girl can dream… LoL.  Good luck to everyone!  :o)

i think a valentines day proposal would be beyond perfect! i couldn’t think of another day that would be better! i’m not expecting it to happen on vday, but i would be the happiest girl in the world if it did. although i’ve been in a lot of long term relationships, i’ve never expierienced a really special valentines day before. and that would sure make it a special one!

I’m in the super-hopeful boat as well!  My Boyfriend or Best Friend and I share a birthday – on Sunday!  So we were planning to head out of town for the day to get away from home, and last night he suggested that we make a weekend of it and told me he booked a hotel.  Really, really, really hoping he’s planning something!

Aaaaand, he just cancelled our trip.  I’m super bummed, and honestly kinda pissed at him πŸ™

@SadieBee: Bummer. πŸ™ Maybe he is just going to surprise you with the trip in the end!?

Hope it happens for all of you! Tuesday will mark our one year engagement anniversary. Fiance whisked us away to Napa and I was for sure he was going to propose while there. He proposed on Feb. 15 on our way home in Lake Shasta, CA. So it WAS a total surprise! Hang in there ladies!

@SadieBee:  OMG…booo!!!  I’m sorry he cancelled on you.  πŸ™  I hope it’s just a bluff or something and that he still has something planned.

I’m pretty hopeful for this weekend.  He took Monday and Tuesday off from work as well, so I am hoping/guessing maybe it will happen at some point in the next 4 days.  Eeeek!

Good luck to eveyrone who’s waiting on this weekend, and for all our waiting bees, I hope everyone has a good valentines weekend.  <3

I keep having that one teeny ounce of hope that it could happen sometime this weekend, but I highly highly doubt it. I asked him the other day when we should celebrate V-Day/what we should do, if anything [he works morning, and I work evening on the actual day of, but we have tmrw night & sunday night off together], and he said he had no idea what we should do, and that he’s “really bad at these things”, then he made a joke about how he wishes he were more like Ashton Kutcher haha. To which I made a joke back saying “Oh right, he was in Valentine’s Day… can’t say I’d mind you doing what he did in that movie bahaha” [if you haven’t seen it, he proposed], but my SO didn’t respond to that comment lol. πŸ™

He’s off all day tomorrow while I’m at work, I keep daydreaming about him coming up with some cute surprise [proposal or not], I really have to do my best to cut it out! It’ll be difficult while I’m at work tomorrow haha, hopefully it’ll be really busy.

I feel like I really have a love/hate relationship with V-day. On one hand, it’s not a big deal to me… but then on the other, there have been times I’ve been disappointed because I feel like we both should put more of an effort into the special day together. But, we acknowledge it at least, and take the time to get each other small gifts/chocolate/cards. Oh well, at least even if there isn’t a proposal this time around, there will be lots of smooches and chocolate for all of us!!

My fingers are crossed for all of you Bees!! <3
