hmm it depends!  with a cruise, i like that even if you don’t pay for excursions, there’s stuff to do. ship activities, relax, gym, whatever!  and your meals are included.  but do consider the flight/transportation to the ship’s departure port.  sometimes the cruise itself isn’t too pricey, but if you have to travel to get there, it makes a huge difference.

and what kind of vacation you guys going for? more of relaxing or activities?

im a tad bias tho cuz i love cruising ๐Ÿ˜›

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: sounds like a fun AND relaxing vacay you got planned already!  Cruising is fun, but do be careful, the prices add up quite fast.  Drinks are usually extra, and excursions are extra, and there’s the tips for your room attendant/dining room waiters, etc…so even though if the advertised base price is cheap, there’s a lot of small fees/expenditures here and there.

I would do a cruise first but that’s just me. I go to the beach 4 or 5 times a year because we plan to move to the ocean in a few years and half my family lives at the beach (were obsessed). We end up spending $3000 everytime we go which is the same price were paying for the cruise (7 days in the 2nd largest suite!) and we get to see exotic beaches!! If you go on a cruise they have a port in Norfolk VA that you could drive to… but if your location is right on here that’s still a while away but so is the beach. Just depends on what you like to do and how pampered you’d like to be hehehe… I want to be super pampered this next vacation. Best of luck either way and research!! You can save tons if you do a little research. =)
