you will be fine, the airplane is maintained and the staff well trained – they will get you there safe so and there will be no issues.   sending positive vibes that you can relax

I hate flying too… πŸ™  Maybe take something to help you sleep tonight, and just breathe.  You’ll be with Darling Husband and he will keep you safe!!

I fly to Taiwan every other year or so, which is a 27 hour flight! Just remember that the plane will fly no matter how much or little you think about it. Bring a lot of reading/watching material πŸ™‚

It will be okay!

Think of how many planes are flying around the world every minute of every day and there are hardly ever even any issues!  It will be fine!

My Mom is really afraid of flying too. She usually packs a few nips in her bag to calm the nerves.

@PitBulLover: oh my, that’s early. I don’t know if my stomach could handle a beer for breakfast lol

@PitBulLover: I have a major anxiety about flying. Xanax didn’t work and sleeping pills didn’t work–alcohol does take the edge off, but I’ve found the most helpful thing is meditation/breathing. I do a very simple breathing exercise where I say in my head “I’m breathing in” with each inhale and “I’m breathing out” with each exhale. I do it until I can stop tensing my body. It sounds really simple, but it worked for me–on my last plane ride I was able to fall asleep on a plane for the first time since I was a kid.

Just remember that the pilot won’t fly a plane that isn’t fit for service.  I think a pre-8 AM flight is the best flight of the day, too.  The plane is probably fresh from being checked. πŸ™‚

The 7 AM flight just means you get to have a mimosa instead of a beer!

try not to worry…it is just nervous. But this is coming from someone who also freaks out. I always think that I have this feeling that tells me that something bad is going to happen but nothing ever does πŸ™‚ I am such a weirdo I even make up “signs” that I should not go on the plane.

I would like to hear some details about this cruise that you are going on πŸ˜€

Xanax and headphones ( music, movie  etc), then if your reading- sitll put something in your ears to block out the nervous chitter chatter of your other flight members πŸ˜‰

It will go great, and the cruise will be fabulous!!! Can’t wait to hear about it and maybe see some pics πŸ˜‰
